If you’re on the hunt for a prestigious business school in a fantastic location, you might want to consider George Washington University. Certainly, being situated in the heart of Washington D.C., the program has a strong “focus on international business” and plenty of opportunities for working and studying abroad. As one thrilled second-year student chimes in, “I studied in Israel & Rwanda while pursuing my MBA.” Moreover, given that many students here lead busy lives, they fully appreciate that it’s easy to create a “flexible schedule.” Indeed, we’re told that it’s common to take a “mix of online and in-person courses.” What’s more, this flexibility extends beyond just scheduling. Students thankfully have a lot of opportunity to “ take courses outside of the business school that relate to [their] career interests.”
Inside the classroom, MBA candidates are greeted by “polished,” “professional” and “brilliant” professors who typically “maintain an open door policy.” One impressed student volunteers, “Most of my professors have exceeded my expectations in terms of making their subject matter relevant and engaging.” Unfortunately, MBAs aren’t as kind when it comes to GW’s administrators. Many bluntly assert that they “are poor at their jobs.” However, as one optimistic student explains, “We went through three different deans since I’ve started a couple years ago, but again, things are picking up and changing for the better.”
