I Love Tutoring Because

I enjoy helping students move from uncertainty to understanding, while creating a space where they feel capable, supported, and empowered. Those "aha" moments (when ideas start to click) are especially rewarding to me. A background in literature and written expression, along with curiosity about the natural world and an interest in the evolving role of technology in education, all shape how I approach tutoring. These interests help me connect with students in a way that makes the material feel more meaningful and accessible, while encouraging deeper thinking about ideas, texts, and the world around them.

I appreciate the clarity that the tutor was able to provide for me. I was slightly frustrated with the amount of time it took to demonstrate the citation formatting. For my learning style, I think it would have been appropriate to simply correct the reference I used and I would have been able to understand this in less time than 31 minutes.
